What are the Benefits of Warehouse Racking?

The main benefit of specialist racking is maximising storage space, but other reasons for industrial racking include:

  • Improved inventory organisation of goods – racks can be easily addressed compared to stockpiling goods on the floor.
  • Decrease in damaged goods – racking systems are designed to contain palletised goods which greatly reduces the risk of damage to stock.
  • Increased employee safety – damage to racks is a common problem when a high volume of handling machinery is operating daily. RediRack manufactures a comprehensive range of racking protection barriers and other products designed to help you ensure that your warehouse complies with the Health & Safety at Work 1974 regulations.
  • Save money from leasing extra storage space – your existing space is maximised reducing the need to seek additional storage elsewhere.
  • Increased productivity – palletised loads stored on pallet racking ensure products can easily be located and accessed by forklift trucks saving time and money.
